Planning for the vaccine – resources for disability providers

The Australian Government has put together a collection of information and resources for providers to help them plan for the COVID-19 vaccination rollout. The Government has created a disability provider webpage that will be updated regularly with a range of relevant vaccination information. It has also put together a toolkit to help providers get ready for the vaccines.

The toolkit brings together information to help providers prepare for the rollout of the vaccines. It includes:

  • a checklist for planning and delivering vaccinations
  • information on the roles and responsibilities for vaccinations in disability residential accommodation
  • a checklist for getting the site ready
  • information on checking and reporting any side effects.

You can find the webpage for disability service providers and the provider toolkit on the Department of Health website.
