Participants may be required to provide protected information to the Agency to access and manage their plan and supports. Accordingly, participants and their advocates must be aware of what may and may not be disclosed by the participant to the Agency and the Agency to others.
The participant may be prevented from disclosing personal information to the Agency by the operation of another State or Territory Law, or a Commonwealth Law.
The Agency may disclose the personal information obtained by the participant on three grounds: General Disclosure, NDIA Disclosure to Other Government Entities, and NDIA Public Interest Disclosure.
