Service providers or related organisations sometimes provide support for interaction with the Agency and in the areas of plan development and management or in providing links to peer support. However, it must be considered whether any conflicts of interest may interfere with the role of adequately protecting, respecting or advocating for a person’s interests, particularly where a problem is related to service provision.   A conflict of interest could compromise the reliability, quality or usefulness of the advocacy or support provided.
